Family Recovery Resources B.A.L.M.
The B.A.L.M. program is two prong…. Get your life back, while helping your loved one get theirs back.
Some families feel the BALM works like a map that is helping to guide their loved ones back to them. Everyone in it is a real person with real experiences having family members with substance use disorders, including the teachers and coaches. They gently guide you with their experience in using the BALM, to live a peaceful life no matter what chaos is going on around you.
Learning the BALM (Be A Loving Mirror) method and using the tools you will learn in our 1-year curriculum, will help you bring peace and calm into your life so you can mirror that to your loved one in a way that you never have before.
We know from the disease of addiction that our loved one’s brains get hijacked, so that first year of recovery for them is crucial. Did you know that it’s crucial for families also because their neural pathways get hijacked sometimes even more than their loved ones.
Our members have experienced that applying the BALM principles have helped their neural pathways be reprogrammed so that they can slowly find that peace and calm within themselves again.
Our program is live and online so it’s accessible anytime of the day or night. There are 3 group coaching sessions per week as well as 12 Principles and Seven Step classes. Meditation and journaling classes as well. Our platform, “The BALM Training Institute” has 400 – 600 recordings so families can learn and grow as they live their everyday lives.
